Destroying Stress Using Tarot ; Part-(II)

Today we will discuss the use of Tarot in reducing and redirecting Stress.
With Today's fast and frantic lifestyle, Tarot emerges as an important tool to re-focus and re-direct your life path. When you feel stressed and over-whelmed Tarot helps reveal, your innermost needs and desires helping you achieve abundance by bringing clarity, honesty and reassurance to any situation.
You can reduce your stress level with the help of Tarot.Because our goal is not to eliminate stress but we should learn how to manage it and use it in positive way to help us.

When you are stressed what can be done:-
  1.  Search for a quiet place and make sure nobody disturbs you for next 10 to 15 minutes.
  2.  Start with a couple of Deep Breath. And if you can chant any mantra you are comfortable with at least 3 times. If you don’t know any mantra you can chant OM for three times.
  3.  Listen to your inner self and then look at the Tarot Cards what they say. Request them to help you .because Tarot not only gives you the guidance but also aids you in your personal growth.
  4. Then open your Tarot deck spread the cards and know think about the reason for your tension/stress ask Tarot for guidance then pick up the card for yourself.

  • Spend some time looking at it. Pay attention to its colors and how you feel about them. Note the general atmosphere of the card and the emotions it brings out in you.
  • Look at the figures in the card--what they're doing, whether they're seated or standing, who they remind you of and how you feel about them.
  • Focus on the symbols and what they remind you of. Write your thoughts down on a piece of paper.
  • Now take a look at the card and think what the card has to offer you.
  • Analyze the card and then again think of the issue.

You would soon be able to see something you have been missing so far because reading tarot cards is a combination of knowledge and intuition. And the best part about Tarot is that anyone can learn this art

I have found some special qualities in few Tarot Cards which are specially related to stress and its management and can be used specifically for empowerment when they show up in tarot readings.

To truly understand and appreciate the beauty of Tarot Cards , you are requested to either take the help of a Tarot Card Reader or if possible Learn it yourself.

Cards in Major Arcana.

Card 1) Strength
In a Tarot reading, Strength offers you the  connection between both, your inner self and your outer self. It implores upon you to find the confidence within yourself to show up to the world as a strong, assertive, and persevering individual. If you have been self-doubting, the Strength Tarot card gives you the confidence to fight those doubts. Additionally, if you are feeling worn out or stressed, Strength tells you, “Things are going to be better! You are going to find the strength within yourself and within others to keep going!”

Card 2) The Tower
The Tower represents the inner and outer structures that you have built around yourself. These structures represent your personal circle, a defense which makes you a more socially acceptable ‘you’ by hiding your true, inner thoughts and feelings. In times of great pressure and stress, these structures will be tested and are at risk of shattering, finally revealing your true inner self to those around you. So, you need to be very careful that no matter how much of yourself you attempt to hide, knowing that one day, all will be revealed.

Card 3) Temperance
In Upright
Temperance indicates that you are learning to bring about balance, patience and moderation in your life. You have been able to take the middle path, avoiding the extremes and maintaining a great sense of calm in your life. You have learned to keep calm in situations of great stress or anxiety,
You need to avoid pain, conflict and distractions and lessen your stress and anxiety. Looking inward will help you. There is nothing to fear, as it is part of the process and without it change could not occur.

In Reversed
In reversed position this card reflects a time when something is out of balance, in conflict or excessive, and is therefore creating stress and tension in your life. Look to the other cards in the reading to understand what is out of balance or contributing to this feeling.

Tomorrow we will discuss the remaining cards which deal specifically with the issue of stress management.
