The Magic of Crystals

Magical Crystals
What is Crystal?
A crystal or crystalline solid is a solid material whose constituent atoms, molecules, or ions are arranged in an ordered pattern extending in all three spatial dimensions. In addition to their microscopic structure, large crystals are usually identifiable by their macroscopic geometrical shape, consisting of flat faces with specific, characteristic orientations.[citation needed]
The scientific study of crystals and crystal formation is known as crystallography. The process of crystal formation via mechanisms of crystal growth is called crystallization or solidification. The word crystal is derived from the Ancient Greek word κρύσταλλος (krustallos), meaning both “ice” and “rock crystal”,[1] from κρύος (kruos), "icy cold, frost

What are Minerals?
Minerals are the building blocks of the rocks most are composed of a mixture of minerals but few contain just one kind or species of minerals. Example-granite contains quartz, feldspar and mica
Most minerals grow as crystals what makes a crystal a crystal is that the atoms and molecules arrange themselves in a regular and repeated three dimensional pattern in a process known a atomic bonding.
When one or more minerals are fused through atomic bonding forming a crystal it is a structure and quantity of each mineral that determine the final crystal variety

What are Gemstones?
Natural process create beautiful crystals that can be made gems by cutting and faceting , To be a gemstone a mineral species is defined as an object of beauty , rarity and durability . Sapphire, Ruby, emerald , diamond are considered to be precious gemstones. But there are many semi-precious gemstones Such as topaz, amethyst etc.

History of Crystals?
The oldest crystal so far discovered has been dated 4.4 billion years ago.
The use of crystals dates back as far as there are records of history itself. They were used in Biblical times, throughout Ancient Egypt, Rome and date to all ancient cultures.

The actual word crystal comes from a Greek word Crystallos, from “Krysos” meaning “ice cold”, ( as mentioned above)  it was originally thought that crystals were a type of ice that was so cold it would never melt. Around the late 1700’s this theory was superseded by the idea that crystals “grew” by the addition of layers.
Crystal in fact came from the period in history when the Earth was forming. The heating and cooling of the planet formed the magnificent crystalline objects we have today.

How Crystals Work?
It is a scientific fact that all matter is made up of energy, and tat any object, be it a person, plant, a plastic pipe, grain of sand or body of water has energy within it and surrounding it., Energy resonates at a particular vibration, and for each object or thing, there will be a specific vibration.

The human body is designed to function ‘properly’, and when it is doing so, each part of the body and particular emotions have their own specific vibrations. When the body or emotion is not healthy this vibration changes.
Just like watching TV, if the waves from the TV signal are not turned in properly, the picture and sound is affected. Crystals can help “tune in” the vibration for the human body as well as for other living things such as plants and animals.

This is called the Theory of Resonance. Crystals are set in their formation, so unlike the human body, they do not alter in their vibration and “get sick” or out of balance. This makes them excellent tools in assisting the body and mind as the crystals stays constant in its vibration and will therefore bring the body into line with the crystal’s “healthy” vibration.

It is important to note that as the body is designed to repair itself, it does not tune itself to the ‘wrong’ vibration. Just one of the many amazing facts about the human body which baffles science. Perhaps we can put it down to the 90% or so of our brains which we are ‘supposedly’ not using.

So in actual fact, the principle of how crystals work is extremely simple, a fact that is a great benefit to the lay-person as it makes them very simple to use on any level. Crystals have so many uses – healing on a physical and emotional level, cleansing your environment, protection, relaxation, assisting meditation, attraction (love, money, luck).

The energy level that crystals work on is extremely subtle so don’t be surprised if you feel nothing at first. As you work with crystals more and more, you will become attuned to their subtle, beautiful energy. Just being around them has a wonderful effect. To ‘tune in’ to the vibrationary energy of crystals takes a little work. Some people are naturally quite sensitive to its energy and feel it the instant they come into contact with their first crystal, whilst for others it takes time and effort.

Mythological Knowledge hidden in Tarot Cards ( Story of Persephone and Hades) Part-III

Persephone and Hades : An Immortal Myth

The Myth of Persephone and Hades has many shades to it. And several of its shades are seen in some of the Tarot Cards.

We can see the beauty of Persephone has been veiled in the Image of High Priestess Tarot Card.

The High Priestess is being portrayed as Persephone, descending a staircase into the Underworld, with the Earth behind her, dressed in white, and holding a book of Tarot. ( here we compare the book of Tarot with ultimate knowledge , the knowledge of the difference between  life and death , the truth of life.)She holds up a pomegranate, which appears in the myth of her abduction by Hades, and is also used in the Rider-Waite deck. The pillars beside her are the standard black (left) and white (right), and she also wears a crown, being the Queen of the Underworld.

We can see the description of of Hades in the death card.
In Greek Mythology  Hades has been described that He is tall dark looks like skeleton. He is  the king of underworld, god of death,He is invincible and unconquerable.
Same way you can see The Death card shows Death himself riding on a white horse, holding a black and white flag. Death is portrayed as a skeleton as the skeletal bones are the part of the body that survives death.

Mythological Knowledge hidden in Tarot Cards ( Story of Persephone and Hades) Part-II

what happened when Hermes reached to Underworld to take Persephone. What Hades did to Persephone.Did she come back or not.

Now read the next part :-

Persephone and Hades had reached his home in the Underworld. Hades warned Persephone not to eat any food there. For Hades loved her and knew that Persephone wouldn't be happy in the Underworld all the time. He would have to have food from above brought down for her.

Swift Hermes reached the Underworld and found Hades. Persephone had hidden herself behind a pomegranate tree. She could hear all that Hermes and Hades said.

"Hail Hades," Hermes said with a nod. "I come to bring Persephone, daughter of Demeter, back to Mount Olympus."

"Hail, Hermes," Hades replied, "I will not give Persephone up. She is mine, and mine alone."

Hermes sighed and dropped the formality. "Come-on, Hades, I'm in a tight fix here. If I don't bring Persephone back, Demeter will have my flying shoes!"

"That witch," Hades remarked, thinking the problem over.

"Has Persephone eaten anything?" Hermes asked.

Hades didn't reply.

"If she hasn't," Hermes said slyly, "then I can take her back."

Hades didn't reply.

Persephone was scared now. She didn't want to leave Hades, but Hermes was her friend and she didn't want him in trouble either. Thinking quickly, she saw six pomegranates on the tree before her. She just picked them from the branch and started to eat them.

Light On Tarot

What is Tarot Reading ?
In most people's minds, "Tarot card reading" means a woman in flowing robes, leaning over a small table in a candlelit room, foretelling impending doom. But that's not really what Tarot cards are about. In fact, they're not even really meant to tell your fortune or future.
The Tarot is a powerful tool for gaining insight into yourself and your life. As with many techniques that are used for self-improvement, Tarot is one of them.

How does Tarot work?
It helps you create your future through Knowledge, Empowering and enlightening, you will learn how to actively fight with your problems and create incredible outcomes. Tarot can change your life by making you aware of your choices and options in your life.
The Tarot has benefits and limitations. While it can do quite a lot for you, it cannot solve all problems, and is not designed to make decisions for you or tell you what to do.
A Tarot reading is like a snapshot of what your life looks like at the time of the reading. The cards tune into your energy - the person asking the question - to give you a picture of unseen influences, patterns of behavior, obstacles, and strengths. A reading can give you an idea of where you are now, where you've come from, where you want to be, and how to get there.
Tarot doesn’t tell your future:-
While Reading the cards they get tuned into your energy and gives suggested actions to take and a likely outcome if you take them, it does not predict the future.
Why you should get your Tarot Card Reading done?
Getting your Tarot Card Reading done will not only be informative for you but it also reveals what’s going in your life at the time of reading and how can you take precautionary measures to avoid such situations which are going to harm you or loved ones in any sense in future.
Why one should learn Tarot?
The tarot can help you understand yourself better and teach you how to tap into your inner resources more confidently. You do not have to have "psychic powers" to use the tarot successfully.
How one can learn Tarot?
Today there are number of tarot decks available in the market, but the simplest one and universally acceptable deck is Rider Waite. You can buy this deck from any book store in the market and in every Tarot Kit there is booklet inside the kit if you want you just go through the book and learn meanings of the cards.
Why one should opt for Tarot teacher while learning the Tarot Cards?
Although you can learn Tarot by yourself by taking guidance from the book which is being provided inside the Tarot Kit along with the cards, but the book only gives you the meaning of the each card,
Tarot isn't about thinking it's about feeling. It's about using your intuition and going with the images before you to create the words.
Like everything else we learn in life, once you've learned it you don't think about doing it you just do it.
As long as you think about Tarot you won't be able to do it successfully.
So you need to pick up the basics and move on to working on your intuition as quickly as you can. And for that you may need guidance from some Tarot Trainer.
The best advice I can give one should not only learn Tarot meaning they should try to understand the meaning behind the symbolism. The concept of 4 elements and the concept of the numerology of Tarot.

Hope you find the post informative and exciting.
Feel free to share your views as well.

The Power of Tarot in all of Our Lives

Begin your journey with Tarot and bring the power of Tarot Cards in your life,

Buying your own Tarot Deck can often seems like a very difficult task because there a plenty of Tarot Decks available in the market.
And Choosing the right Deck can be like finding the right soul mate. Because Tarot is a deep personal journey which helps you in meeting and listening to your intuition and also helps you grow spiritually.

Often it has been said that a Tarot Deck can only be given, while it is certainly a wonderful gift to receive because it is such a meaningful gift. And this gift you can give to yourself too.

It is equally important to seek your own personal Tarot Deck which suits your personal tastes and cultural affinities. Tarot deck can often take long time of searching. When you find that deck, you will feel as though you've come home. The imagery of the particular representation of Tarot symbolism you choose will resonate deep within your soul.

For a beginner a few tasks are difficult like choosing a Tarot Deck. There are hundreds of Tarot Decks are available. Some of them are based upon mythology, famous art-works, books etc. Few of Tarot Decks available are as follows:- Wisdom Cards, Oracle Cards, Crystal Cards, Angels Cards, healing Cards,Osho Zen Cards, Rider Waite Cards, and so on.

So how does one choose his first deck? Go to the Shop, handle the boxes and look at them, ask the shop owner if they have the loose cards and take a look at them. If you have some friends who read cards ask them for help. Search on internet if you can then you will be able to differentiate.

While you look at the cards see if there is particular one which keeps getting your attention or you are finding any Tarot deck that you are feeling fascinating towards.

Finally, if you're really stuck, and you just aren't sure which deck is the best one for you, it's not a bad idea to pick up the Rider Waite deck. Aesthetically speaking, the Rider Waite deck is a better choice because it's the one used most often as illustration in Tarot instruction books, and it’s a fairly easy system to learn. Later on, as you come to understand the cards and their meanings on an intuitive level, you can always add new decks to your collection.

I chose Rider Waite because of its interactive features. I use the Rider Waite Tarot, the most well known deck.

Rider Waite:-
A  Tarot deck, which taps into your inner self and brings out the awareness and insight that we need to solve our problems and queries.
We can use this magical tool in our life, no matter from which caste, religion or culture we are from. Tarot has a universal appeal that we all can experience in our life.

Rider Waite Deck consists of 78 Cards out of which 22 cards are of Major Arcana and 56 cards are of Minor Arcana.

The 22 Major Arcana Cards are used deal with major issues in our life and they also talk about the fool’s journey as well. This is the journey of an individual that we all take through the life as we evolve physically, emotionally and spiritually as well.

And the 56 Minor Arcana cards are used to deal with day to day problems in our life.

The Minor Arcana has four suits: 1) Wands 2) Cups 3) Swords 4) Pentacles
And every suit has Court Cards:-1) King 2) Queen 3) Knight 4) Page
and the remaining cards in every suits are known as Pip Cards.
The 16 Court Cards shows the different people in our life, different situation.
And the 40 Pip Cards shows the daily challenges of our life, daily happenings of our life.
Once you purchase your deck keep these things in mind before studying Tarot:-

  1. This is tool for self development and spiritual growth.
  2. This is a tool for personal exploration.
  3. A tool to help us in searching our own powers
  4. A tool for enriching our lives
  5. A tool for accessing our intuition
  6. Last but not the least A tool for Solving our most of the problems

No Tarot deck will hold value for you if you do not personally connect with it.
When you find the deck that's right for you, I recommend you treat it like a close friend. Tarot decks are often kept in fine silk, but if you prefer wearing wool, or another fine fabric, wrap your special deck in that. Keep it in a wooden box and put the box somewhere special.

However you choose to care for it, the Tarot will become a trusted guardian on your journey through life.

Heal Pain and Learn to Love and Forgive with the help of Tarot-Part (II)

I want to share the wisdom of Tarot with you that how it teaches us to heal ourselves by letting go our grudges and pains.

Since when we hate someone and hold grudges against him by doing this we are not harming him we are harming ourselves. Because by this way we pay the price again and again by bringing anger and bitterness into every relationship and new experience. Our life will be so wrapped up in the wrong that we can't enjoy the present. We will be depressed or anxious. There will be a feeling that our life lacks meaning or purpose, or that we're at odds with our spiritual beliefs. We may lose valuable and enriching connectedness with others.

But Tarot teaches us how to be realistic with the issues and how to solve them logically. It teaches us and guides us how to let go of things and also teaches us the art of forgiveness and love.
If you stuck with your grudges and past failures either it was because of you or because of someone else you will not be able to go forward in your life. You won’t be able to heal yourself.

Cards which represent forgiveness and let go of things are as follows:-

Cards in Major Arcana

The Star:
The star card represents Hope, serenity, inspiration
In the star card you will see a naked women pouring water her one foot is on ground and other is in water she knows how to balance the practical and emotional world both together. Behind her shines 7 small stars and one large star which represent our chakra it means we need to open our self and cleanse our aura.
When the star tarot card comes in reading it suggests that you have endured life’s challenges and have been through a difficult time but you are now open to healing and transformation. Your ability to let go of damaging memories has been strengthened by contact with your true self through these difficult times. Hatred, envy, bitterness, and revenge have burned themselves out and no longer shadow your life or get in the way of your potential for future happiness. You are now also able to forgive and forget so that you can embrace new opportunities.

The Hierophant :
The hierophant is known as spiritual leader, the interpreter of secret mysteries and the one who points the way towards salvation. The two keys in the card are suppose to be the keys of salvation and redemption.
Redemption means: Art of learning to solve the problems and once you learn it you have the key of redemption.
Salvation Means: Learn to forgive.
Because this card also represents education and the pursuit of knowledge and Once you learn to forgive you have the eternal peace in your life.

Judgment:
Judgment represents rebirth, inner calling
The Judgment card calls for a period of reflection and self-evaluation. Through meditation or quiet reflection, you may come to a point of deep understanding about the common themes throughout your life and what you can do or change to avoid these situations in the future. Judgment tells you that you are close to reaching a significant stage in your own journey.
The Judgment card suggests that you have had a recent epiphany or an ‘awakening’ where you have come to a realization that you need to live your life in a different way and you need to be true to yourself and your needs. You have opened yourself up to a new possibility – to lead a fulfilling life that serves your higher needs and that offers inspiration and hope to others. But then can happen only when you are able to come from your past events in your life. Past bad feelings, grudges which you are holding, just forget and forgive those who you think were not fare on your part or have hurt you. Just move forward and then you have everything in your life that you are worth.

Cards in Minor Arcana:

Three of swords:
The three of card shows a heart pierced by three swords:- it shows betrayal, rejection, sorrow, painful separation, grief.
Such events in our life are very painful because they are unexpected. but when this cards comes in our reading it prepares us for such things so that we will go through the less pain less emotional blow.
That said, pain, sorrow and grief are often a necessity in the journey of life. Without pain, there would be no challenge and no lessons learned. Pain can be a great motivator because it encourages you to surmount obstacles and ultimately learn from your mistakes. Each challenge you encounter creates that initial pain, which is inevitably turned into an opportunity to grow stronger and to change the direction of your life as a result of the lessons learned. While the pain may cloud your vision for a certain period, it will eventually allow you to see clearly and to put the past behind you. Though life seems meaningless at the time, recovery can and will occur. It takes faith, self-love, forgiveness and time. Count your blessings.

Five of Cups:
This card shows that lack of fulfillment. You are depressed ,disappointed because the situation has not turned up according to your plans. Now instead of facing the situation you are trying to run away from them. If somebody has hurt you, you don’t want to forgive the one, you just want to leave. But you should know forgiveness and ability to recover from the emotional loss in necessary for your personal growth, because by just running away from the situation you may get the relief but this is not permanent this is a temporary relief because the problems are not solved yet they are as it is the way they were. So just forget and forgive and move forward in life just face the issues. Once you decided that you can do it no one can stop you. Because if there is a will there is a way.

According to Tarot:- Forgiveness means that you are choosing to release the grip you've continued to allow people and situations from your past to have over you in the present. It is a gift of acceptance you give to yourself; the very gift that allows for true freedom from all that has come before.

Heal Pain and Learn to Love and Forgive with the help of Tarot.

Forgiveness: - letting go of grudges and bitterness.
When someone for whom you care about hurts you, you can hold on to hatred or may be the thoughts of revenge or the other way are embrace forgiveness and move forward.

What is the meaning of term forgiveness?
Generally, forgiveness is a decision to let go of resentment and thoughts of revenge. The act that hurt or offended you might always remain a part of your life, but forgiveness can lessen its grip on you and help you focus on other, positive parts of your life. Forgiveness can even lead to feelings of understanding, empathy and compassion for the one who hurt you.

Forgiveness doesn't mean that you deny the other person's responsibility for hurting you, and it doesn't minimize or justify the wrong. You can forgive the person without excusing the act. Forgiveness brings a kind of peace that helps you go on with life

Benefits of Forgiving.....
  • Healthier and Happier Relationships
  • Less anxiety and stress.
  • No Depression.
  • Lower risk of getting involved in wrong habits.

It may be easy to look around our world today and see the appearance of chaos, difficulty and strife.  Yet, when we come from an open heart, we can also see our opportunity to love all things into balance, joy, harmony and peace.

Too often, we punish ourselves for past mistakes, as if we could somehow “make up” the wrong that we’ve done. We walk through each day feeling less-than. We call ourselves losers. No good. We live chained to our past, holding on to hurts and grudges. And though no one else may know about our secret pain, the negative emotions we feel gnaw away at our joy and satisfaction in life.

Forgiveness does not exonerate the one who hurt you nor does it trivialize the depth of your trauma.
What it does do is liberate you and your soul from living in the Horror house of your old bad memories that aren't more worthy in your life. Forgiveness, then, is a gift you must find a way to give yourself regardless of whom or what has dropped you into this grievous state of affairs. I earnestly believe that non-forgivingness is the leading cause of divorce — not adultery or even economics, which are often touted as the culprits.
It has been a sword devastating sisters, mothers, fathers, and sons. It has damaged office relationships and undermined the teamwork that increases profit margins and collapses the best of the best into a business model with higher yields and greater proficiency!

So, then, forgiveness is essential if we want to grow into the fullness of God who created us to be. As we are made in his image, we share his capacity to love, to experience betrayal from those we love, and to extend forgiveness and risk loving again. Forgiveness isn't about weakening you but strengthening you to live again and love again, performing at your highest capacity, unencumbered by yesterday’s maladies.

How to reach forgiveness.....
Forgiveness is a commitment to a process of change. To begin, you might:-
  • Consider the value of forgiveness and its importance in your life at a given time.
  • Reflect on the facts of the situation, how you've reacted, and how this combination has affected your life, health and well-being
  • When you're ready, actively choose to forgive the person who's offended you
  • Move away from your role as victim and release the control and power the offending person and situation have had in your life

As you let go of grudges, you'll no longer define your life by how you've been hurt. You might even find compassion and understanding.

Tips to come one up with the realities and move forward in life:....

Be honest with yourself: - “If I just pretend it never happened, maybe it will all go away,” we tend to think. Sounds nice…but not true. Choose to break out of denial. Be honest about how you’ve messed up and the consequences of your behavior. Journal out the specific behaviors and actions that are causing you angst.

Accept it for what it is:- As an imperfect person, you will make mistakes in life. Face it. You will hurt people sometimes and sometimes you will get hurt by others as well. You will have regrets. It’s part of living in a less-than-perfect world. But you have a choice. Either your past will keep you in a rut of guilt and shame…or you will accept it for what it is and experience the freedom to move on and enjoy the now. Self-acceptance is critical to your emotional health…so don’t miss out.

Let go:-Don’t hold on to guilt. You don’t need to justify your past actions or try to prove yourself. Letting go of the past means burying it and giving up your right to engage in self-condemnation. Forgiveness is a choice, but also a process. It’s choosing to stop hating yourself and cutting yourself down, but instead, seeing yourself as a valuable human being.

Develop realistic expectations:-Evaluate the expectations you (and others) set for you. Are they healthy? Or unrealistic? If you find yourself never being able to measure up—no matter how hard you try—you may just need to change a few things in your approach to life. Healthy expectations are achievable and fulfilling, not draining and overwhelming.

Forgiving may be tough but it is not impossible.
Once you learn the art of forgiveness you find the real peace in your life. Let the past events be in the past just live in the present. Stop beating yourself and thinking about someone who had hurt you in the past.

Just accept and respect yourself as you are: - You don’t need anyone’s certification to be for what you are. Because if we will not respect our identity then no one will.

Tomorrow we will discuss how tarot can help us in healing our pain and how to move forward in life with the art of forgiveness.

Destroying Stress Using Tarot ; Part-(III)

Yesterday we discussed about the Cards of Major Arcana  which are specially related to stress and its management.

Today we will discuss about the Cards of Minor Arcana.

Cards from Minor Arcana

Card 1) 4 of Cups
The Four of Cups often appears when you are bored or dissatisfied with the current scenario. You may be feeling disengaged, apathetic, or unmotivated. Life has become stale or ‘flat’ and there is little that excites you anymore. To overcome this, the Four of Cups suggests a need to re-evaluate your situation and to look deep within your own psyche to find understanding and meaning. Turn your attention inward to find the Truth for which you are searching. Avoid distractions and examine your heart and mind to gain clarity.

Card 2) 5 of Cups
This card shows lack of fulfilment or non-attainment of expected results. You are feeling disappointed that a situation has not turned out as you had hoped, and this leads you to stress.
The Five of Cups suggests that you are having trouble letting go of the past and learning from your mistakes.

Card 3) 8 of Cups
The Eight of Cups also indicates that you are disappointed enough to walk away from everything you have built up so far. It could indicate a disappointment in love or dissatisfaction with material success. It could also indicate that you have over-extended yourself to the point of emotional exhaustion. Even though you have already come so far, you feel that you can no longer go on and your only choice is to walk away from the situation. You feel disappointed with yourself but you know that this is the right thing to do before you completely burn out. You may also be feeling that you are just giving and giving and not getting enough in exchange.

Card 4) 2 of Swords
The Two of Swords is a card of choice and of the difficulty of making a decision. This creates a stress within. The woman in this card is blindfolded, and this may be intentionally so, indicating that she is avoiding making a very difficult decision. Her state of calm and relaxation may be indicative that she is trying to avoid this important decision which would  bring about peace of mind.

Card 5) 4 of Swords

In Upright
The Four of Swords is a reminder that after every crisis and before every new challenge, there is always a time of relaxation and contemplation. Constant stress and tension will break even the hardest and most resilient of people but brief periods of rest enable you to refresh your energy, concentration and focus, so that you are ready for the next challenge.

In Reverse
The Four of Swords reversed can indicate that you are feeling restless and wanting to do everything at once. Even if your body is telling you that you need to rest and relax, your mind is pushing you forward, trying to accomplish a long list of tasks. You may be getting quite sick or stressed as a result, so it is vital that you force yourself to pause and take it easy to ensure that you do not become completely run down and exhausted.

Card 6 ) 9 of Swords

In Reverse
The Nine of Swords is about worry, anxiety and not being able to sleep because your thoughts are running at one hundred miles an hour. Reversed, the Nine of Swords indicates that you are working yourself up and becoming incredibly stressed and anxious when, really, this does not have to be a complicated issue.

I personally find the above cards in tarot deck  when comes in reading it has specifically to do something with your stress which is affecting your day to day actions .

The Tarot readings are beneficial when stressed because it shows  alternative paths that can be taken and they stress action. Action must be taken on the part of the querent to make successful changes. Thinking does not do it alone.I give my clients a writing assignment to do as follow ups. While doing readings for the clients and listening to their issues carefully we ask them to make strategies positively and I help them in making these strategies with the help of Tarot. This is the first step  in them taking positive action.I like to have my clients leave with a strategy to enable them to attempt something new.

Tarot as a tool to empower your choices.
I use the Tarot as a Tool of Empowerment to help people realize that they can seek out alternatives and accept responsibility for their thoughts, feelings and actions. Empower means to give power or authority to enable or permit. When you are empowered you eliminate the self-defeating attitudes, and burdens that come along with it. You project an aura of strength which enables you to make choices and take educated risks without fear. Life is trial and error. Not everything we try to accomplish will come our way easily or at all. An empowered individual can deal with the good and the bad while having the inner strength and ambition to change self-destructive behavior patterns while seeing all the possibilities for their life. I particularly look for spreads that help assist in this.

Destroying Stress Using Tarot ; Part-(II)

Today we will discuss the use of Tarot in reducing and redirecting Stress.
With Today's fast and frantic lifestyle, Tarot emerges as an important tool to re-focus and re-direct your life path. When you feel stressed and over-whelmed Tarot helps reveal, your innermost needs and desires helping you achieve abundance by bringing clarity, honesty and reassurance to any situation.
You can reduce your stress level with the help of Tarot.Because our goal is not to eliminate stress but we should learn how to manage it and use it in positive way to help us.

When you are stressed what can be done:-
  1.  Search for a quiet place and make sure nobody disturbs you for next 10 to 15 minutes.
  2.  Start with a couple of Deep Breath. And if you can chant any mantra you are comfortable with at least 3 times. If you don’t know any mantra you can chant OM for three times.
  3.  Listen to your inner self and then look at the Tarot Cards what they say. Request them to help you .because Tarot not only gives you the guidance but also aids you in your personal growth.
  4. Then open your Tarot deck spread the cards and know think about the reason for your tension/stress ask Tarot for guidance then pick up the card for yourself.

  • Spend some time looking at it. Pay attention to its colors and how you feel about them. Note the general atmosphere of the card and the emotions it brings out in you.
  • Look at the figures in the card--what they're doing, whether they're seated or standing, who they remind you of and how you feel about them.
  • Focus on the symbols and what they remind you of. Write your thoughts down on a piece of paper.
  • Now take a look at the card and think what the card has to offer you.
  • Analyze the card and then again think of the issue.

You would soon be able to see something you have been missing so far because reading tarot cards is a combination of knowledge and intuition. And the best part about Tarot is that anyone can learn this art

I have found some special qualities in few Tarot Cards which are specially related to stress and its management and can be used specifically for empowerment when they show up in tarot readings.

To truly understand and appreciate the beauty of Tarot Cards , you are requested to either take the help of a Tarot Card Reader or if possible Learn it yourself.

Cards in Major Arcana.

Card 1) Strength
In a Tarot reading, Strength offers you the  connection between both, your inner self and your outer self. It implores upon you to find the confidence within yourself to show up to the world as a strong, assertive, and persevering individual. If you have been self-doubting, the Strength Tarot card gives you the confidence to fight those doubts. Additionally, if you are feeling worn out or stressed, Strength tells you, “Things are going to be better! You are going to find the strength within yourself and within others to keep going!”

Card 2) The Tower
The Tower represents the inner and outer structures that you have built around yourself. These structures represent your personal circle, a defense which makes you a more socially acceptable ‘you’ by hiding your true, inner thoughts and feelings. In times of great pressure and stress, these structures will be tested and are at risk of shattering, finally revealing your true inner self to those around you. So, you need to be very careful that no matter how much of yourself you attempt to hide, knowing that one day, all will be revealed.

Card 3) Temperance
In Upright
Temperance indicates that you are learning to bring about balance, patience and moderation in your life. You have been able to take the middle path, avoiding the extremes and maintaining a great sense of calm in your life. You have learned to keep calm in situations of great stress or anxiety,
You need to avoid pain, conflict and distractions and lessen your stress and anxiety. Looking inward will help you. There is nothing to fear, as it is part of the process and without it change could not occur.

In Reversed
In reversed position this card reflects a time when something is out of balance, in conflict or excessive, and is therefore creating stress and tension in your life. Look to the other cards in the reading to understand what is out of balance or contributing to this feeling.

Tomorrow we will discuss the remaining cards which deal specifically with the issue of stress management.
