Mythological Knowledge hidden in Tarot Cards ( Story of Persephone and Hades) Part-III

Persephone and Hades : An Immortal Myth

The Myth of Persephone and Hades has many shades to it. And several of its shades are seen in some of the Tarot Cards.

We can see the beauty of Persephone has been veiled in the Image of High Priestess Tarot Card.

The High Priestess is being portrayed as Persephone, descending a staircase into the Underworld, with the Earth behind her, dressed in white, and holding a book of Tarot. ( here we compare the book of Tarot with ultimate knowledge , the knowledge of the difference between  life and death , the truth of life.)She holds up a pomegranate, which appears in the myth of her abduction by Hades, and is also used in the Rider-Waite deck. The pillars beside her are the standard black (left) and white (right), and she also wears a crown, being the Queen of the Underworld.

We can see the description of of Hades in the death card.
In Greek Mythology  Hades has been described that He is tall dark looks like skeleton. He is  the king of underworld, god of death,He is invincible and unconquerable.
Same way you can see The Death card shows Death himself riding on a white horse, holding a black and white flag. Death is portrayed as a skeleton as the skeletal bones are the part of the body that survives death.
